I believe fees should be straightforward and transparent. Every piece of work is agreed in advance, with payment made upfront so you know exactly where you stand. Whether you need a one-off fixed fee, ongoing monthly support, or ad-hoc help by the hour, you’ll always get clear costs and no hidden extras.

How I Charge

  • All work is agreed upon and paid in full upfront.
  • Retainers run for a minimum of 3 months (billed monthly in advance).
  • Ad-hoc work is available on an hourly basis.
  • A clear scope is established before we begin; if additional work arises, I’ll always provide a quote first.

Payment Terms

  • All payments are made upfront (via card or bank transfer).
  • Retainers billed monthly in advance (3-month minimum).
  • Additional work beyond the scope quoted and agreed upon first.
  • Prices shown ex-VAT (if applicable).

Ad-hoc Hourly Support

  • Business consulting & improvement (processes, cost saving, data, strategy): £80/hr
  • Business admin/analysis (forms, reporting, research): £55/hr
  • Personal admin & life support (benefits, passports, housing, household savings): £45/hr

Extras

  • Rush / out-of-hours: +25% (next day) / +50% (same day or weekends)
  • Travel (if needed): at cost + time charged at the relevant hourly rate (pre-agreed)

Retainers (Best Value – 3 Month Minimum)

Predictable monthly support with priority response. Unused hours roll forward for 1 month (then expire).

  • Lite – 5 hrs/mo → £350 per month (effective £70/hr)
  • Standard – 10 hrs/mo → £650 per month (effective £65/hr)
  • Pro – 20 hrs/mo → £1,200 per month (effective £60/hr)

  • Business plan review – Lite (read-through + margin notes + 30-min call): ➤ £300
  • Business plan review – In-depth (detailed notes + 60-min call + action plan): ➤ £600–£900
  • Cost-saving audit (review of expenses, quick-wins report, 45-min call): ➤ £500–£1,200
  • Process improvement scan (workflow map + 90-day priorities): ➤ £750–£1,250

Personal Support

  •  Benefits application support (e.g. PIP)
    • Form prep + evidence checklist + submission guidance: £180–£350
  • Passport/visa support
    • Form check & document review: £90–£150
    • Full application support (non-legal): £200–£400
  • Housing issue letter pack (facts capture, one formal letter, next-steps guide): £120–£250

  • Household Cost-Saving Review
    • Mini – £120
      A quick review of your main bills and services — such as utilities, broadband, mobile, and insurance — with straightforward recommendations to cut unnecessary costs. Ideal if you want the essentials checked and easy wins highlighted.
    • Full – £250
      A deeper dive into all your household spending, including subscriptions, service contracts, and day-to-day expenses. You’ll get a detailed breakdown of where savings can be made, comparisons of alternative providers, and a tailored action plan to reduce costs across the board.
